I was reading this week in my daily devotional book about Daniel. Daniel was a victim of circumstances far beyond his control. Conquered and exiled to a foreign country, he had lost his freedom , his home, his culture. He had to learn a different culture and language. Things were tough for Daniel and he could not do anything about it.
